Position and possibilities
|
The accomodation is just 1
km from the centre of town and with a street running out
on the border between France and Belgium, called 'de Schreve'.
The rural surroundings and the distant views of French
Flanders with Casselberg and the Catsberg, offer you what
is expected of the 'Westhoek', the estreme western part
of Belgium. The “loft” is situated in a garden,
completely separated from the house, and with full privacy.
The double is a room in the house on the
first floor, with a bathroom and with a breakfastroom.
The use of bicycles is free and hiking or cycling tours
can be undertaken directly from the residence. For those
with horses, stabling is available. The 'loft' and the
room have free internet access.

Garden and surroundings
Weather permitting, breakfast
is served in the garden, and residents making use of the
holiday cottage package can make full use of this for
picnics. Garden chairs and reclining chairs
are available, and there is privacy for numerous guests.
The garden has a rural look and has a natural pond filled
with fish for the enthusiastic angler! There is a wonderful
view over the fields and pastures with sheep, a horse
and a donkey – the owner’s pets.

Interior
|
The 'loft'
is 36 m2, and has a living room, kitchenette, sleeping
area, toilet, basin and shower. Modern furnishings are
used right through, and the kitchen is equipped with a
cooker, fridge, microwave and kitchen gear for 4 people.
Bed-, kitchen- and bath linen is always included, no matter
which package is selected. A double bed as well as a spare
bed is available for a possible third person or child.
The living room has seats and a writing desk. Cable television,
free internet connection and a small library ensures that
you will have enough to keep you occupied. |

Coming from Dunkerque or Lille (A25/E42)
Take the exit n° 13 and follow on the right
to Ypres/Poperinge D948
After 300 metres, go left into D168 “route
de Watou”.
Follow the road for 3 km and take then the road on the
left, “Jonkeidstraat”.

Coming from Ypres
Follow direction Poperinge and take the “ring”
on the left to the end.
Go left direction Watou, the N308 for
400 meters and follow Watou to the left at the round
about.
On the marketplace of Watou, go left direction
Steenvoorde. Don’t turn left to Abele,
but go straight on.

Prices, info and reservations
The prices for Bed & Breakfast
are always for 2 people and per night. This is also available
without breakfast.
The prices for the holiday cottage are for 2 people and
per WEEK, WE, MID-WEEK inclusive of electricity and heating.
For accommodation in the loft, it is possible to provide
supplementary accommodation for a third person, or children.
The prices for all packages include bed-, kitchen- and
bath linen. |
